If you were to ask me which is the best personal organizer software, my answer would be OSMO, it is a handy personal organizer, which includes calendar, tasks list, address book for contacts, events, and main idea and notes modules.
It was designed to be a small, easy to use and good looking PIM tool to help to manage personal information. In its current state the organizer is quite convenient to use.

Currently I am using Google Calendars, it is not perfect but what I like about Google Calendars is the SMS alert feature, you will receive a SMS a few days ahead prior to the event. The other thing I liked about Google Calendar is accessibility, I can access the list anywhere, where as OSMO requires physical access to my actual laptop.
This doesn’t mean OSMO is not useful, it has its plus point too, such as:
- Calendar
- Contacts
- Notes / Ideas
The problem with Google Calendar is privacy, how much information are you willing to share with Google. In the event that you lose your password, everything is exposed. OSMO on the other hand comes with password protected and encrypted data backup feature.
