I am seriously considering Google Chrome as my default browser, it seems that Mozilla Firefox is awfully bloated, slow and sluggish. Google Chrome appears to be lighter, faster and not to mention – clean user interface.

Before I decided to give up on Mozilla Firefox I’ve been using since 2002, I gave SpeedyFox a try. According to the author, SpeedyFox defrags the fragmentation of the profile databases, compress the bookmarks and clean out all the unwanted information. If all goes well, it claimed to be able to boost Firefox startup in up to 3 times! Varies from situation to situation.
I gave it a try and couldn’t be happier, it is still somewhat slower than Google Chrome but better than it was before the defragmentation process. Remember to backup your bookmark!
