adionSoft Fast Image Resizer is perhaps the easier photo resizing software for senior citizens such as your parents. This is the exact same tool I’ve installed for parents, it is a matter of drag and drop then attach the resized image.
Fast Image Resizer is an image resizing tool that makes it easy to resize one or multiple images for web or email distribution. You can choose from several preset image sizes or specify a custom size, customize JPG compression and output quality, and output the resized images to a new folder or sub-folder.
Don’t panic, this is the screenshot (below) you’ll see. Simply drop the images onto the interface and the resizing process will start automatically. The final output file will be in a designated folder created by you.
Other features include renaming templates, EXIF support and automatic image rotation. Fast Image Resizer can take advantage of dual or quad processors. This tool is free and it is so much easier than Picasa.
