Download Skype Mobile For Nokia Symbian S60 Smartphones

Skype for Symbian phones is now available for all mobile smartphones powered by Symbian S60, this includes the all time popular Nokia n95, n97 and 5800 Xpressmusic. I own a Nokia 5800 and I couldn’t help but to give it a try, I’ve been waiting for ages.

Here’s my own experience:

Making phone calls from Skype to landlines or mobile is definitely cheaper
The anonymous feature is awesome, especially when you’re calling strangers
The line can be somewhat unstable, frequent breakups. Again, this varies from country to country depending on their infrastructure.
You’ll need 3G access (not cheap, monthly subscription) or Wifi. This might contra with the cheaper call rates.

Skype for Symbian is way much better than the one for our desktop when it comes down to hardware, this is probably because our mobile phone has better microphones and speakers which filters out unwanted noise.
