At the time of writing, the beta version of drop.io Outlook Plugin is free, so is the 100MB maximum file attachment. Now you can send large email attachments. This is a very useful service because most free email service comes with a 5 to 10MB limitation, thanks to drop.io, the days of splitting them into smaller files with WinRAR are gone.

First, you’ll need to download the drop.io plugin for Outlook. Install and once you’re done, launch Outlook. When attaching files, look for the ‘Attach Files With Drop.io’ button as shown in the screenshot below:

The files are not mailed to the recipient’s server, meaning to say the files are hosted on drop.io’s own server. By clicking on the link, they are redirected to drop.io’s page with the option of viewing or downloading them.
