Apart from the inability to make you smell the scents and odors, the images and music allow you to experience the atmosphere, indulge yourself with your own imagination, which I dare say is rather extraordinary, the director must have spend quite an enormous time brain storming on how to capture smell using visual images, and to say it is a failure is a shame.

Perfume - the story of a murderer has a lasting impression on me, not because of the story and the way the story unfolded, it’s the orgy scene when the murderer was about to be chopped and tortured into thousand of pieces.

The murderer got away with death when he applied a single drop of his own perfume onto himself and unleashed an aroma that blanket the entire town, temporary causing them to forget who they were and all the hate and anger that embroiled in them. In short, it is ‘make love not war’, thus, the entire villagers was engulfed in a love spell, stripping themselves naked and making love - orgy way.

It is supposedly a brutal story with violent scenes of murders which the movie didn’t show, possibly to avoid red tapes and a FSK 16 rating. None the less, the story was visualized excellently, a 4 out of 5 stars.

According to thinksecret, an Apple rumor website, a new iMac and iLife is on the way, possibly to be release on August 7th next month. For those that was thinking of purchasing a new iMac, my advice is hold your horses, wait until August 7th, it is worth while waiting for.

The End of Blogging for Money

China Stock Market Crash

Morgan Stanley former economist Andy Xie warned of an imminent stock market crash in China, undeniably China is now has one of the world’s most influential economy alongside Japan, German, and the United States. Any minute disturbance or rumours would literally bring the entire world to another recession, something like the Great Depression in the early 19th century.

According to him, the recession would start from the United States and spiral down into Asia where exporters would be hit, he also warned that the global boom in equities would be over by 2008, which could be true considering the fact that after the Summer Olympics 2008, business would dwell in China and if things spin out of control, the rest is history, on top of that China GDP is growing at a rate of 8% - 10%, which is way above the average GDP and it is a basic principle of the universe where a reaction will create an un-opposing reaction, like an equation.

How about bloggers? and the internet? Personally I believe the Internet would be the hardest hit, or shall I say the first to hit the bottom. This recession is going to blow bloggers out of the water, they are not going to know what hit them. It is the end of blogging for money.

Paris Hilton Jailed for 45 days

Paris Hilton was sentence to 45 days in jail for driving without a driving license, her driving license was suspended for a drunk-driving conviction week ago. The best part is, the judge order her to spend her sentence in a county jail and not a privately run “glamour slammer” where other celebrities have done their time. The keyword is “other celebrities” and it is hard to imagine how would Paris Hilton survive in a country jail as a super star. You know, I bet I can make million out of this whole drama if I am the prison warden, by simply installing hundred of camera in the jail - “Paris Hilton Jailhouse Rock Unplug Video”

New Google Adsense Login Page

Here is a sneak peak of the soon to be google adsense »”>Google Adsense login page, I love the new layout, it is so clean and neat and informative, unlike the previous login screen which is kind of boring. Well, I am so used to the old login screen and I guess I need a little bit more time to adapt myself to this new layout. Could this possibly be the default layout for all Google Services? Gmail? Google Doc and others? Time will tell. Screenshot by me :)

For women, nothing’s like the smell of men’s sweat

I guess this must one of the many reasons why I should not bath… ever again.

WASHINGTON, Feb 7 (Reuters Life!) - For women, apparently there’s nothing like the smell of a man’s sweat. Researchers at the University of California at Berkeley said women who sniffed a chemical found in male sweat experienced elevated levels of an important hormone, along with higher sexual arousal, faster heart rate and other effects.

Apple set to make 50% margin on iPhone

Rumors has it that Apple is making 50% profit for each iPhone sold, it will cost Apple about $250 to make for the 4GB version. Isn’t this awkward? One of the main reason being is to squeeze as much from the consumer and when sales starts to fall, all Apple has to do is drop the price and sales will bounce back. Just like how they sell iPod with a 50% margin during the early years.
