Watch Online Beijing 2008 Olympics Closing Ceremony and Games Free
Attention worldwide user, watch Beijing 2008 Olympics Games and Closing Ceremony online.

Now you can watch the games and closing ceremony online for free if you happen to live outside of US. Unlike NBC with its exclusive rights in the US, CCTV Olympics is offering all internet surfers the chance to watch the games online for free, anyone and everyone regardless of which country you’re from. The only catch is, the website is in Mandarin, fear not, I’ve created a step by step tutorial on which button to click. Only a few simple steps, here goes:

STEP 01 : Visit CCTV Olympics website, sign in with your msn account ‘Step 01′, once you’re done, hit the orange colour button labeled ‘Step 02′. Please note that this could be a phishing website, a phishing website does no harm to your comp but its main intention is to steal information. I strongly suggest you create a new msn account and sign in! Please take my advice seriously, get a new msn account.
.
.

STEP 02 : You’ll be redirected to a new page as shown above, wait for it to load.
.
.

STEP 03 : You’ll be greeted with a matrix like menu as shown above, it won’t be hard to figure about the type of games that each button represent. Red means ‘Live’, Green means ‘Re-runs’
.
.

STEP 04 : Select the channel, please note the installation of an unknown file is required, click on the orange link if it does appear and download. If you’re unsure about the purpose of the file and its functions, I’ve done a virus scan on it. View VirusTotal online report on CCTVRegOcx. For your information, Virustotal is a service that used 32 different types of virus engine and databases to analyze suspicious files and facilitates the quick detection of viruses, worms, trojans, and all kinds of malware detected by antivirus engines.

Medal count 2008 olympics highlights results for Athletics, Swimming, Basketball
The official Beijing 2008 Olympics does provide a much more comprehensive result, but sometimes this can come in handy due to your company’s internet filter policy, I doubt they would ban Google in your workplace, would they?
Having said that, you can pretty much do anything with Google, from tracking your UPS parcel to converting various units by inputting the keyword into Google search box. This is not exceptional for this medal count 2008 Olympics in Beijing.
Just type in the keywords as shown in the screen shot below to extract the much needed information on:
Medal count 2008 olympics
Olympic Football Results
Olympic Swimming Timetable/schedule

On the other hand, Google news does provide a much more in depth report on the medal counts 2008 Olympics and Olympic Events schedule and latest news.
Again, this comes pretty handy in work environment where the internet is censored or filtered, after all, Google is the best search engine in town and any company or office would be crazy enough to block it.

Beijing 2008 olympics opening ceremony video and Olympic results
I’ve been getting lots of emails and comments on where to find the Beijing 2008 Olympics opening ceremony video and Olympic results, the answer is none other than the official website.
For the official results visit the Overall Medal Standing page, it has a detailed information on every events, for example who won the medal, in which event and many more.
As for the Olympics Opening Ceremony video, the truth is I’m not too sure about it, YouTube appears to be pulling down all the videos as soon as someone upload it, possibly due to copyright issue, however, the Official Website provide a link to the official broadcasting partners in their respective country based on sponsorship, for instant in UK you’ll have to visit BBC, for Australian they have to visit Yahoo 7, the only drawback is you’ll only get to watch a preview of the Opening Ceremony and not the entire event.

Visit the Official Beijing 2008 Olympics website and follow the link on right column as shown in the image above, my advice is - find the full video because it is worth watching, the opening ceremony was amazing, something different for a change.
You know, the funny thing about the entire event is, where are the mascots? I’m not talking about posters or animated video clips but an actual mascot suit with a person in it parading.
If you have any idea where to watch the entire Beijing 2008 Olympics opening ceremony video, do drop you comments. Thanks!
