40 de zwepen voor het Noemen van een Teddy dragen „Mohammed“

Hier opnieuw gaan wij, is een Britse basisschoolonderwijzer gearresteerd in de Soedan voor het toestaan van haar klasse van 7 jaar - olds naam een teddy beer `Mohammed'. Gillian Gibbons, was een Britse burger sindsdien belast met „blasphemy,“ een inbreuk die hij met maximaal drie maanden in gevangenis en een boete strafbaar was heeft gezegd.

De naam `Mohammed' is heilig aan Islamitische filosofie, wordt de naam Mohammed geassoci�ėrd met `Nabi Mohammed', de stichter of massager van Islam.

Gebaseerd bij het mijn begrip, was het de kinderen die de teddy beer `Mohammed', niet Gillian Gibbons noemden. In elk geval, wat verkeerd is met het noemen van een teddy beer `Mohammed'? Wij hebben westerlingen zien noemend hun kinderen `Christus', gaat wat naar uitbreidt zich van het branden van een bijbel, gebeurt het zelfde ding in Aziė, wat is verkeerd met dat? De godsdienst zou een afzonderlijke entiteit van de staat moeten zijn, als de kerk hen voor het branden van een bijbel wil vervolgen, op alle manier gaat, als de Islam geleerden Gillian Gibbons wil vervolgen, op alle manier vooruit doorgaat, maar de overheid zou niet moeten geļmpliceerdo worden.

200 zwepen voor het Saoedi-arabische slachtoffer van de troepverkrachting

Een recente krantekop van Telegraaf het UK, om een lang verhaal kort te maken, werd een Saoedi-arabische vrouw veroordeeld aan 200 zwepen en 6 maanden gevangenis voor het zijn een slachtoffer van de troepverkrachting, was werd de aanvankelijke zin 90 zwepen maar later verhoogd tot 200 omdat de vrouwen van het beļnvloeden van de media - sympathie schuldig werden gevonden.

Wat een bos van idioten, hoe kon zij dit doen? Niet is het verkeerd om het slachtoffer moreel en ethisch te straffen?

Volgens de Arabische krant van het Nieuws, werd de vrouw troep-verkracht 14 keer. Her offence was in meeting a former boyfriend, whom she had asked to return pictures he had of her because she was about to marry another man. The couple was sitting in a car when a group of seven Sunni men kidnapped them and raped them both, lawyers in the case told Arab News. The former boyfriend was also sentenced to 90 lashes for being with her in private. - Source: Telegraph UK

The Islamic Sharia law is not in tune with modern society, these religious laws does not comply with today’s plural ethic modern society; we’re heading towards a global village, a multi cultural world. Coming from an Islamic country - Malaysia with a religious composition of 60% Muslims and 40% others, and an ethic composition of 50% Malays, 25% Chinese, 8% Indians and the rest, I need to stress that Islamic Sharia Law doesn’t work, one of the reason - What if a Muslim and non-Muslim are involved in an argument say divorce? or Khalwat (Close Proximity with the opposite sex)? or marriage?

These Islamic Sharia Laws are written hundred of years ago by some Muslim scholar, it does make sense during their golden age, close proximity was deem as something unhealthy during the olden Chinese culture, same goes with the western culture where they segregate children, church goers and many more according to gender, but these rules evolve, the entire world evolve and adapt to current changes and demand.

Religion should be a personal matter, religion, politics, and state should not mix together.

Just incase you’re wondering what is his excuse for the transformation of colour, he claimed to have vitiligo, a race decease that leave his skin white patches of white colour, which in his case is not in patches.

Not to be out done by the Americans, the Russian military has successfully tested what it described as the world’s most powerful non-nuclear air-delivered bomb. While the U.S. bomb is equivalent to 11 tons of TNT, the Russian one is equivalent to 44 tons of regular explosives. That is 4 times more devastating that the US bomb.

The New Seven Wonder of the World

Swiss businessman Bernard Weber launched the New Seven Wonders of the World in September 1999 and the best part is the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in a press release on June 20, 2007 reaffirmed that it has no link with the initiative. It is a one man’s dream to create fame and fortune for himself.
