The New Seven Wonder of the World
Swiss businessman Bernard Weber launched the New Seven Wonders of the World in September 1999 and the best part is the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in a press release on June 20, 2007 reaffirmed that it has no link with the initiative. It is a one man’s dream to create fame and fortune for himself.
So, I was so existed about the whole thing until I read about it in Wikipedia. Anyway, today is 7/7/07 and Mr.Bernard weber will announce the new list today. Visit the official website.
Scientists threatened for ‘climate denial’.
Some say global warming is a lie, created by the first world so that progress of the third world could be stalled, which is something I find hard to believe. Come to think of it, global warming is as real as it is. Just take a look around and see what used to be there and what is not. Let us build a better future for our children’s children. Spend wisely and consume what you need only.
Scientists who questioned mankind’s impact on climate change have received death threats and claim to have been shunned by the scientific community.
They say the debate on global warming has been “hijacked” by a powerful alliance of politicians, scientists and environmentalists who have stifled all questioning about the true environmental impact of carbon dioxide emissions.
