How to convert mp3 to acc format for Nokia 5800 XpressMusic Ringtone? Where to download the software? Good news, if you happened to own a Nokia 5800, which I did for the past few days. I was frustrated when I noticed Nokia 5800 XpressMusic refused to accept my mp3 as ringtone. I’ve discovered a simple solution to this problem; it does not require special software or any skills.
Step 1, go to ‘My Computer’ –> ‘Tools’ (a dialog box will appear) –> ‘Folder Options’ –> ‘View’ –> Uncheck ‘Hide Extension for Known File Types’
Step 2, Rename the file extension from ‘mp3′ to ‘aac’, and confirm the change of file extension when asked. Upload to your Nokia 5800 and set it as your default ringtone.
