Steve Jobs and Bill Gates

Hello, I am a Mac, and I am a PC.

Bill Gates and Steve Jobs comes on stage jointly discussing the history and future of the digital revolution on May 30 with Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher for seventy-five minutes. PC World has the entire conversation jolted down in text. I like the part where Steve Jobs said:

“When Bill and I first met each other and worked together…generally, we were the youngest guys in the room.” Today, “I’m the oldest guy in the room most of the time.”

Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder is a Hoax

It sound too good to be true, the original author for the Brute Force Windows Vista key generator confess that his program - Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder is a hoax. According to him the keygen do not generate any keys and it was meant to be a joke, but the funny part is Adrian Kingsley-Hughes of ZD Net claim that he found two Windows Vista key using the program, which is oddly enough that someone must be the real prankster.

My best guess would be the original author might have freak out that Bill Gates and gang is going to take legal action and sue the hell out of him, thus the best solution would be to call it a joke and avoid the lime light. Who is the real prankster? Find out yourself by downloading the program.

Bill Gates’s Quote of The Year!

Bill Gates's Quote of The Year!

Bill Gates did it again, I have to admit that I do admire him for his cunning business tactic and Bill Melinda Foundation that helps the poor Africans. One of quotes that really inspire me is : “Put your friends close, but put your enemies closer.” Something like that, anyway, his recent quote on Sony is really cool and funny but then again it is so true.

“Sony could make 80,000 bricks, and people would buy them.” - Bill Gates

Sony! You’ve guided Japan out of her image as a country that produce low quality products after World War Two and show her how to innovate. You gave hope to all the Japanese and this is the miracle China needs like how Samsung is to Korea. Stop making fake goods Mr.China. Wake Up! Be Creative and give the world the much needed miracle and great gadgets. What brand is that Haier? lenovo?

bill gates mug shot

So I was searching for some information about the “man”, and found this funny information, its a list of how rich is Mr.Bill Gates and come to think of it, Gates sure is the luckiest man of earth. He has all the money in the world and why Mr.Gates did not register his own domain name for www.billgates.com, now we know why Mr.Gates is no match for Google. So much for the title “King of Computers”

1. Bill Gates earns US$250 every SECOND, that’s about US$20 Million a DAY and US$7.8 Billion a YEAR!

2. If he drops a thousand dollars, he won’t even bother to pick it up because during the 4 seconds he picks it, he would’ve already earned it back.

3. The US national debt is about 5.62 trillion dollars, if Bill Gates were to pay the debt by himself; he will finish it in less then 10 years.

4. He can donate US$15 to everyone on earth but still be left with US$5 Million for his pocket money.

5. Michael Jordan is the highest paid athlete in US. If he doesn’t drink and eat, and keeps up his annual income i.e. US$30 Million, he’ll have to wait for 277 years to become as rich as Bill Gates is now.

6. If Bill Gates was a country, he would be the 37th richest country on earth.

7. If you change all of Bill Gate’s money to US$1 notes , you can make a road from the earth to moon, 14 times back and forth. But you have to make that road non-stop for 1,400 years, and use a total of 713 BOEING 747 planes to transport all the money.

8. Bill Gates is 40 this year. If we assume that he will live for another 35 years, he has to spend US$6.78 Million per day to finish all his money before he goes to heaven.

Last but not the least the best one!!

9. If Microsoft Windows’ users can claim US$1 for every time their computers hang because of Microsoft Windows, Bill Gates will be bankrupt in 3 years.

Bill Gates vs Chairman Mao

August 1, 2006 · Filed Under Uncategorized · Comment

Chairman Mao

Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer must be a crazy person to say Microsoft would be greater when he took over. What is wrong with him? He just compared his boss to the father of Chinese communism and what is he hinting at? Who sould be insulted? Bill Gates or Chairman Mao? Will see in the next ten years how accurate his crystal ball is. I doubt about Microsoft’s future looking at how Google and others are promoting online programs that almost render operatin system useless. Sun Microsystem was wrong, Java is not the future, the internet is.

There have been many companies who lost their greatness post their founders. There have been many companies who went on to greater greatness after their founders…. When did China get great? China didn’t get great under Mao Zedong. China got great under — in the recent years — probably got great under Deng Xiaoping.

Mac vs. Windows: A designer’s perspective

June 17, 2006 · Filed Under Sci and Tech · Comment

mac vs windowsCreativeGuy has an interesting post on the pro and cons or a mac, I’m never a mac user and never will be in the near future. The reason being is that I’m brought up in a Windows environment and am so use to it. Yeah, there are Mac in my design college but so far I find them not so user friendly as what most people describe. No right click button until last year?

Not to mention that Mac has only a handfull of games, such as Solitaire and WarCraft 3, that is about it. With no option to buy a good Creative Sound Card, what is the point of buying a good labtec or Altec Lansing Speakers? I guess Mac users are stuck with that lousy quality sound that pump out from their CPU/Monitor.

I don’t want to give the impression that Macs don’t have any problems, but I’m just saying that it’s not fair to judge Apple’s QA based on their iPod battery life. The ball isn’t in their court on that one, the people who make batteries have to come up with a better solution, first. Macs aren’t immune to problems, but then neither are any computers, really. Maybe they have slipped on their QA, I don’t know. Personally, I haven’t had any issues (knock on wood) with any Macs that I’ve owned, but my friend, who has the same PowerBook as me, had an issue with the latch. They were very good about fixing it, though.

I believe the instability of Windows is because people has the option to install various softwares and chances are these third party software will eat up or shall I say mess up the Windows Registry sooner or later. Unlike Mac, everything is inhouse, and with the source code, mac programmers are able to code the programs due to the better understanding of the I/O of Mac O/S.

I’m not a big fan of Bill Gates and his Microsoft, but I sure hope Mac or Linux will eat up a few percent of their market, and I’ll be the small percentage of rebel, I am thinking of installing Linux in my old comp.
