Blog Comment and Trackback Submitter

When the going gets tough, the tough get going. I am receiving about 2000 comment and trackback spams per day, you heard me, that is more than 2000 comment spams per day, sometimes that figure could easily reach 3000.
It appears that spammers are finding it hard to make money online now, it could be because Google has taken some affirm action on these spammers and their blogs, now that is not the end of comment spam, that is the begining of an end and all together.
Recently I am receiving a different kind of comment, it not not about porn, viagra or adult website, it a comment spam that reads:
This comment was submitted automatically using Trackback Submitter. If you would like to submit comments to thousands of blogs yourself (so you may get indexed fast and get thousands of backlinks automatically), please see Trackback Submitter web for m…
For USD300, they’re selling these comment spam tools for anyone, hopefully there won’t be a tsunami of spams flooding my blog, I’m spending like half an hour per day just to filter these spams, yes I am using Akismet but it is only performing at 99% efficiency.

Perez Hilton Celebrity Blog Sued

Once a blogger becomes famous and his/her blog is making tons of money, the lawsuits join in. Perez Hilton, a celebrity gossip blog involved in a bitter $7.5 million lawsuit with a paparazzi photo agency. Reason being that he used or source images from the internet without permission.
Perez Hilton does sound like Paris Hilton.
He usually sources the pictures from the internet, a practice not liked by the media companies. In one case, Hilton had somehow obtained and posted the photos even before the actual owners had a chance to put them on its own website.
Now X17, a paparazzi photo agency, has decided to slap a $7.5 million lawsuit on Perez alleging that he has used 51 photos without permission, payment or credit.
Hilton is not willing to give up and says that he is fighting for the entire blogger industry. Will be a very interesting case to watch. - Digital Inspiration

Welcome to the Blogging World - Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Seriously!

The Iranian president has a blog, ironically there is no press freedom in Iran and this really spice up the whole blogging world. Makes me wonder when is Mr.Bush going to join the blogging world?
Is Mr.Mahmoud Ahmadinejad the first president/prime minister (which ever applies) with a blog? When translate with Google Language Tool, nothing came out… hmm… is this some kind of secret code?
Why would Mr.Mahmoud Ahmadinejad start a blog? Unless… its the end of the world!
What is the significance of Aug. 22? This year, Aug. 22 corresponds, in the Islamic calendar, to the 27th day of the month of Rajab of the year 1427. This, by tradition, is the night when many Muslims commemorate the night flight of the prophet Muhammad on the winged horse Buraq, first to “the farthest mosque,” usually identified with Jerusalem, and then to heaven and back (c.f., Koran XVII.1). This might well be deemed an appropriate date for the apocalyptic ending of Israel and if necessary of the world. It is far from certain that Mr. Ahmadinejad plans any such cataclysmic events precisely for Aug. 22. But it would be wise to bear the possibility in mind.
A passage from the Ayatollah Khomeini, quoted in an 11th-grade Iranian schoolbook, is revealing. “I am decisively announcing to the whole world that if the world-devourers [i.e., the infidel powers] wish to stand against our religion, we will stand against their whole world and will not cease until the annihilation of all them. Either we all become free, or we will go to the greater freedom which is martyrdom. Either we shake one another’s hands in joy at the victory of Islam in the world, or all of us will turn to eternal life and martyrdom. In both cases, victory and success are ours.”
In this context, mutual assured destruction, the deterrent that worked so well during the Cold War, would have no meaning. At the end of time, there will be general destruction anyway. What will matter will be the final destination of the dead–hell for the infidels, and heaven for the believers. For people with this mindset, MAD is not a constraint; it is an inducement.
