How I Increased Search Engine Traffic by 450%

Pearsonfied has two great Wordpress themes available for free, listed in Wordpress official site as one of the must have theme, I have to admit that the author – Chris Pearson is a very creative person.
His recent article on how to increase your blog traffic by a whooping 450% is unbelievable. In his post, he argues that in order to achieve this miracle, you need to use his “cutline” wordpress theme. He showed graphs indicating a tsunami of visitor to the site after switching over to his theme, which he claims that has special meta or tag or some code that are able to get you a higher ranking in search engine.
In the image above, note how my search engine traffic jumped an astounding 455% from September to October. On top of that, the total number of search strings that resulted in visits to Pearsonified jumped up 232%, from 1,128 to 2,619. – Chris
I hate to say this but whatever he wrote there are all bullshits. Well, not really, come to think of it, if you’re a Blogger user and just switch over to wordpress, chances are you’re going to experience this sudden increase of visitors – definitely. One of the main reasons being is that you got your own domain name and Google tend to rank you higher. The other reason would be the headline of each post, Wordpress or most of its theme tends to display the title of the post first then follow by the title of the blog, which is a search engine friendly feature.
I have a few blogs and in order to witness this so called miracle, I was fooled into switching over to Chris “cutline” wordpress theme and to my dismay there is no 450% increase in visitors.

Chris said just give it a try and you’ll know without any facts to back him up. It is like me telling the entire Blogger Blogspot user that by using template from GeckoandFly, you’ll have a higher ranking in Google thus a 200% increase in visitors. Nice try Chris but no thank you.
