Here is a nice widget for bloggers, I really like this countdown timer, it can be handy at times, for instance the anniversary of your blog or perhaps your birthday? It could potentially be an indirect message that says, “My birthday is around the corner, buy me a gift.”

You won’t believe this, apparently a girl from Singapore held a contest and it is like non other you’ve come across in blogsphere. The grand prize? A date with the blogger. Goodness, I guess this kind of contest only applies for a female bloggers and probably might work for a male blogger, but then again the chances are slim compare to a female blogger.
I was thinking maybe I should held such a contest, a permanent link for a month at the front page or $500 for the grand prize, or maybe I could give out free hosting and domain name, then again maybe not. The popularity of my blog has yet to reach that stage, probably next year.
