When news is too good to be true, chances are, it is. iobit.com claimed that by installing their Advance WindowsCare Personal v2 software, you’ll be rewarded with a link titled ‘Get Free 90-day Licensed AVG 8.0 Anti-virus Pro’ in their software’s news center, see the screen shot below.

Truth is, iobit lied. There is no such thing as free AVG Antivirus 8 with 90-day License, no license, no AVG AntiVirus, instead, you will been redirected to wikisend.com for an unknown a mp3, password protected mp3 to be exact. The least they could do is to redirect the end user to a torrent, crack or keygen for AVG AntiVirus 8. Below is a screen shot of the redirected page:

How low can iobit.com stoop in order to secure a few more downloads for their own unreliable software? However, if you’re looking for the actual 30 days free AVG AntiVirus with full functionality and support for free, visit the official website.

Download Microsoft Office 2007 SaveAsPDF Add in Without Validation

Downloading the SaveAsPDF add-in from Microsoft’s official website requires validation, what are your chances of downloading the add-in from the official website if you’re using a pirated version of Microsoft Office 2007?

As usual, download.com is offering the add-in without any validation, visit download.com and download Microsoft Office 2007 ‘Save As PDF’ Add-in without validation. Alternatively, you can download from Microsoft Office’s official website if you know the direct link to the exe file, here is the link.

If you’re looking for a third party pdf exporter, visit this post on How to Convert Microsoft Office Files to PDF Format.

Is this illegal? I doubt it is, Microsoft is more than happy to allow this feature in Office, one of the reasons the SaveAsPDF add-in was removed from Office 2007 is due to Adobe’s refusal to grant them the license, possibly fear of having a drop in sales for their very own Adobe Reader Professional.
