Optus Prepaid Apple 3G iPhone Unlocked

According to Optus iPhone Prepaid term and condition, all prepaid iPhones purchased will be network locked to Optus, the only catch is the unlocking fee of AU$80 applied for in the first six months after the original date of activation, or after AU$80 of prepaid credit has been purchased.

My only concern is, does it work with other network after locking it? Anyone from Australia? Care to share your experience?

Apple iPhone 3G prepaid from Optus cost about $720 upfront and that would be a total of $800 after unlocking it, I believe iphone hardcore fans would pay $1000 just to get their hands on the brand spanking new gadget in ebay.

Walt Mossberg Predicts 3G iPhone in 60 days. Thinking of buying the iPhone? Hold your horses because tech pundit predicts that the much awaited 3G iPhone is around the corner. This could very well be true because there is a price cut and a stock shortage, this means that Apple has stop the manufacturing of the current EDGE iPhone and clearing their old stocks.

Walt Mossberg, an American journalist who is the principal technology columnist for the Wall Street Journal gives a semi-guarantee that the 3G iPhone would be available in less than 60 days. Get ready ebay sellers, it is time to clear you existing and be prepare to stock up those brand spanking new 3G iPhone when it is available, it is going to be a hit. Ka Ching! ka Ching! Money is everywhere.

Halloween is around the corner, this could be the creepiest mask ever, if you happen to come across kids wearing the Jacko Mask, please give him double the candy you would normally give it to a single kid, I bet the mask cost a bomb. Nokia’s S60 Touch Interface

Engadget has an interesting post on Nokia’s soon to be release S60 Touch phone, powered by Symbian OS. Apparently, the S60 looks like an iPhone, performs pretty much like an iPhone and the only difference is, Nokia’s S60 is way much powerful and it supports 3rd party application. The only drawback is the lack of is the multi-touch which makes the iPhone so unique.

Can’t wait for an iPhone? The closest thing would be Nokia’s S60, I’m impressed. Read more at Engadget.

Google overtook Yahoo as the second most popular internet destination for web surfers worldwide in November while Microsoft held on to the top spot, Comscore has reported.

Microsoft first? For a non internet company, this is a big slap on all those internet company.
