SanDisk 2.5-inch 32GB SSD hard drive

We all knows that flash drive would eventually replace the current hard drive, the evolution process probably would be around next year and SanDisk would love to lead the revolution with the introduction of a 32GB SSD SATA 5000 2.5-inch for laptop.
We all know that flash drive is way much faster that a typical hard disk and consume a mere 0.9 watt of electricity, which is almost half of what hard disk is consuming. What is the catch? With a price tag of $350, SanDisk has a long way before the would replace Seagate as the world’s biggest hard disk producer.

Hard Drive vs Flash Drive

Here is the world’s smallest and lightest hard drive at 2grams, it has 8gb of storage space. With better flash drives becoming cheaper and faster, does it really matter? We can’t really say mini hard drive is becoming an obsolete technology in the face of flash drives. Flash drive may be cheaper as time goes by but reliability wise a typical hard drive out perform flash drive, hard drive can be rewritten for thousand of times. What we need are reliability and Toshiba’s Hard Drive has it, for example laptops and video camera recorder will be sticking to HD technology for quite sometime.
