Drop Spots and Google Maps

This is awesome, I really need to try this out, it is like going back to those childhood years. Brijetta Hall, Dan Phiffer and Ed Purve are bringing treasure hunting back to adulthood. With Drop Spots, what you need to do is simply hide a gift and post it online, it could be a map or puzzle to an even greater gifts. This is like finding easter eggs both in the real world and digital world.

Google Gadgets on Your Blog
This is the online version of Yahoo Widget! So smart of Google to start this Google Gadget, this feature has been here for quite sometime, formerly knowns as Google Modules. This online gadget allows you to display gadget on your blog or website, you can browse Google’s webpage gadgets directory and then grab the code to insert ito your own page.
The best part about this whole online gadget thing is that Google actually handles alll the traffic and bandwidth. Cool right? The other best part about this gadget is the ability to customize it, for example the background colour and many more. I think this is a killer application.
