Windows Vista debuts to mixed reactions

With improved security and better graphics, Windows Vista seems like a major improvement over Windows XP and with the Apple Mac dying a slow death, the only rival Windows Vista has is non other than Windows XP. Funny it seems but according to source Windows XP outsold Windows Vista on the official launching day.
I’ve just got myself an Acer Laptop with free upgrade Windows Vista Home Edition program and from my previous upgrade from Windows 98 to Xp experience, my advice to those that are about to purchase Windows Vista to hold their horses. Wait till Microsoft sort out all those bugs and security holes, and there is a good chance that your computer is not powerful enough to run Windows Vista, possibly due to the higher memory and processing requirement needed to power the AERO interface.
With the chance to toy around Windows Vista OEM version my brother bought last week, I would say this is by far the best Windows ever in term of graphics, it is like a mac, smooth cool effects that is eye catching and a waste on processing power. Upgrades are highly recommended for gamers only or net surfers, for those that are into business or production based purpose, avoid upgrading – eye catching effect will not boost your productivity.
