Motorola RAZR V3i IMEI code

I’ve just bought a Motorola RAZR V3i. I have to admit that I bought an AP set, which is not under Motorola’s Warranty, its is slighly cheaper. Each phone has an IMEI code, key in *#06# to get the IMEI code. What is an IMEI code? The IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) is a unique 15-digit code used to identify an individual GSM mobile station to a GSM network.
The format of an IMEI is AABBBB–CC-DDDDDD-E.
AA - Country Code
BBBB - Final Assembly Code
CC - Manufacturer Code
DDDDDD - Serial Number
E - Unused
To put things simple, simply key in the code into this popup - IMEI decoder. It’ll analyze the key and determind the country that assemble it. This phone gives me the cool factor, but the user interface is a big let down. Its so user un-friendly, and the other drawback is the volume: it’s really low. Even when volume is set to the highest level the RAZR is difficult to hear in loud environments like a park, a mall, or when driving.
Did I mention about the Motorola Razr’s box? That is one awesome box, it consist of two trays, like a matchbox you have to push the tray to open it, while pushing the other tray slide open simutaniously from the opposite end. No words can describe it, you have to try it to be inspired.
Mine is silver-purple in colour, I wanted the dark-maroon colour but couldn’t get it. What a waste, at USD250 its a good and resonable phone to own - yes it comes with 64MB SanDisk Mini SD card, itunes, and handsfree kit, and a pouch also.
