Its about time Intel brush up their image, with the release of Intel Core 2 Duo processor, finally intel has a chip that outperform AMD’s chip interm of price and speed. The main issue would be the heat generated from these chips, as they double up each year so does the heat. I find it weird that these chip maker only concentrate on making faster processor and doubling up the number of chips in it. Why not invest in a new cooling system, something that might solve this heating problem and eventually increase the chip processor speed. End of the day, it is not who came out with the most number of chip in a processor, it is those that are able to tame the heat produce by a processor.
