Intel and Asustek Plans for low-cost laptop

The new Eee PC laptop, which costs just $200 aims to provide access to knowledge and modern forms of education to people in developing countries. Thus, Intel has named it as a “World Ahead” initiative.

Intel countersues Transmeta

Transmeta was the talk of the town 7 years ago when they launch their Crusor Processor chip, believed to be the future of processor where heat is not an issue. Well, they did manage to solve heating problem long time ago and address the issue well before intel did and realize that heating is stopping them from producing faster processor.
Now, intel is counter suing Transmeta claming that it is Transmeta that infringed intel’s technology, reminds me of the Apple vs Creative, if you can’t beat them, sue them.
