Best Christmas Gift for Kids, Fisher-Price T.M.X. Tickle Me Elmo

November 7, 2008 · Filed Under Life Log · Comment

I’ve been searching for Tickle Me Elmo for quite some time now, apparently, it is only available in America and online retail stores such as Amazon does not provide delivery of electronic goods outside of the states.

Watch Tickle Me Elmo on Fire and Tickle Me Elmo on Youtube.

According to most reviews, kids tend to get bored with Fisher-Price T.M.X. Tickle Me Elmo after a day or two; on the other hand, owners of day care centers found this toy to me a magnet for kids aged 5 to 9. One thing for sure, it can be spooky during the night, imagine Tickle Me Elmo laughed out loud at the corner of the room.

Watch Beijing Olympic 2008 with P2P Torrent

August 7, 2008 · Filed Under Sports · 3 Comments

Authorized videos on YouTube are made available after three hours after the event and it is only available for the United States internet user. Non US citizen can still access the site using a proxy, but the three hours delay is a put off.

P2P Streaming is big in China, in the land of pirates where law and order in the world of internet does not exist, P2P has taken a new life by itself and evolve way much faster than the European and America counterpart due to strict internet laws.

Here are a list of possible streaming and P2P sites that are willing to serve up TV feeds:

If installing software is not the answer, do give FreeTube a try, it seems as if FreeTube took all the online channels available and organized them in one place. Because of the voting system, you’ll find most channels do work. Here are a some examples:

  • Fox 5
  • CNBC Awaaz
  • MTV (Uber, China, Brand New, ect)
  • ESPN
  • Toonami
  • BBC World
  • CourtTV
  • C-SPAN 1-3

Watch Beijing Olympic 2008 Opening Ceremony Online Free

Is it possible to watch the Beijing Olympic 2008 online? The answer is Yes and No, depending on the location you are streaming from. TVTonic is partnering with NBC Olympics to bring the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games to Windows Media Center. Yes, it is possible to watch online (am not too sure if it is stream live from Beijing) and the only catch is it’s only available for US user only.

  • Download & watch full length Olympic events
  • watch while “on the go” and off-line
  • hours of video covering over 20 Olympic sports
  • subscribe to your favorite events for automatic delivery to your PC

NBC is further expanding its coverage of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games with an Internet-delivered catch-up TV service powered by TVTonic on Windows Media Center on PCs running Windows Vista Home Premium or Windows Vista Ultimate! With NBC Olympics On The Go and Windows Media Center, you will be able to create a customized channel lineup of your favorite events for automatic download to your PC. Download NBC coverage of the Games overnight, and take them with you to watch online or offline in up to HD quality.

My only concern is, why only stream it to US citizens? and to limit the streaming to Vista users is a no brainer, and why YouTube did not take any concrete steps to stream the games from Beijing?

My advise is, try other alternative websites such as Ustream.tv or MLB.tv, fear not, P2P technology will prevails.
