Warning - How to Crack Windows Vista Activation Software Contain Spyware and Trojan

Windows Vista Activation

Windows Vista arrived with a big bang, within a few days the warez market is flooded with Windows Vista Activation Crack, although this does not post any threat to Microsoft and its empire, but on a much bigger magnitude, these so called cracks/keygens for Windows vista might be a security headache for Network Managers.

Certain tools apply brute force technique which requires lots of time to come up with valid product keys, for the moment this technique unproven to be successful, even if the software manage to come up with a valid key, it might not works when it comes to updating your Windows because the generated valid key is not registered with Microsoft.

Again, one can not deny the possibility of social engineering. All these reported cracks can become potential sources of Trojan horse, spy ware or any other malwares. Activation 21.11.06 crack is one of its best examples that carry Trojan-PSW.Win32.LdPinch.aze. So, this can be social engineering scheme planned to lure in victims.

How to Install Multiple Internet Explorer 6 and IE7 on the Same Computer Simultaneously

December 8, 2007 · Filed Under How To and Online Tutorials · Comment

TrendSoft released an easy to use installation of multiple IE for web designer, gone are the days when you have to hack the Windows Registry for re-installation of both IE6 and IE7, the installer was made to work with Windows XP.

This is an essential tool for Web designers, currently Internet Explorer 6 and 7 command an equal share of the IE market, thus making sure your web render according to the specific browser is crucial. Not only that, tab browsing is a relatively new feature in IE7, unlike younger generation that can easily adapt to new changes, senior citizens that been using Windows XP together with IE6 could find it user unfriendly and possible scratching their head wondering where is the newly launch window under the start bar.

Cheapest Windows Vista costing only $66

Cheapest Windows Vista costing only $66

Microsoft has dramatically cut the price of Windows Vista Home versions in China in a bid to boost sales.

This could be seen as a move to counter the wide spread of pirated version of Windows Vista in the chinese market, which is believed to be selling for $1 per DVD. Reducing Vista’s price in China narrows the price gap between original versions of Microsoft’s software and pirated copies, and should result in higher sales

But, the problem is not about piracy, it lies more on the mentality of each individual. Having the opportunity to further my studies in Australia, I have come to notice that with the current booming economy, the whites or Australians do buy pirated CDs when they visit countries like China or simply download them off the internet with programs like Bittorrent.

$66 may be cheap for citizens from first world countries.

Acer slam Microsoft

July 25, 2007 · Filed Under Silicon Valley · Comment

The head of Taiwan-based personal computer maker Acer, Gianfranco Lanci, slam Microsoft for its not up to standard Vista Operating System.

Personally I couldn’t agree more, “I really don’t think that someone has bought a new PC specifically for Vista,” he added. I bought an Acer Aspire laptop and I choose Windows Xp instead of Vista because of stability and software compatibility. Anyway, mine is a laptop and since Vista drains battery at 40% faster than XP, I see no reason for me to choose Vista, it defeats the idea of having a portable computer anyway.

Aero Glass Interface Drain Battery Juice

May 4, 2007 · Filed Under Silicon Valley · Comment

laptop battery low warning aero glass windows vista explode

I guess this must be one of the reason why Dell choose to provide alternatives like Linux, if you’re thinking of buying a top of the line notebook to run Windows Vista then by all means stop it, well not really. You still can choose Windows Vista but you’ll have to sacrifice the fancy new Aero Glass interface that makes Windows Vista so special.

PC manufacturers like Dell, Hp, Lenovo and others are forced to either disable the Aero Glass interface or lower he processor speed to combat the excessive battery drain on Laptops running the new OS. When they say Microsoft’s Windows Vista is light year behind Apple MacOS X, I guess they are right all this while. Apple manage to introduce such feature like the Aero Glass interface than does not drain battery juice and the best part is, Apple introduce this unique feature years ago.

Windows Vista Service Pack 1

April 9, 2007 · Filed Under Security · Comment

Microsoft’s legal team sends a cease-and-desist e-mail to a Web site owner who has posted more than 100 hot Vista fixes.

According to PC World, someone has posted 100 over fixes for Windows Vista on his website Hotfix.net, basically what he did was to compile all the fixes and label them as Windows Vista SP1, something which he claims to be the unofficial release of Vista SP1. Another website author took things a little bit further by uploading the fixes on his website and slap a three blocks of Google Adsense on the front page, which clearly is against Adsense policy - illegal activities.

I’m not so worried about the unofficial fixes but what amazed me is the number of security holes in Vista within the first few months of official release, undeniably that bugs will always exist no matter how hard we tried to fix it, nothing is perfect but personally I think it would be a good move if Microsoft release Vista after fixing most of the bugs, meaning to say delay the launch for another year, this would reflect good on their overall corporate image which is well known for releasing softwares with tons of security holes. Download Windows Vista Service Pack 1.

In recent history, Microsoft unveiled Windows XP SP1 a bit more than 10 months after Windows XP’s debut. Windows Server 2003, however, didn’t see SP1 for 23 months after the server software first appeared. Using those samples, Vista SP1 could appear anytime in 2008.

New Yahoo Widget

March 22, 2007 · Filed Under Software · Comment

yahoo widget 4 download create hack

The all new Yahoo Widget with better engine and widget is here, basically what they do was to create some sort of replacement bar for Windows Vista’s widget bar, probably Yahoo find that Microsoft is again bullying and killing off competitor. Well, that’s competition right?

Anyway, the new engine is way much lighter than the previous version 3 and uses up 40% less memory, which is something good for laptop user. Another good news is, it comes with both support for PC and a Mac, this is how it should be, big corporate should create softwares for mac, especially Linux. Like all good things, I believe Yahoo Widget would somehow end up like Netscape, crushed by Microsoft. The only way for them to survive is to innovate, create an online version of Yahoo Widget, allow bloggers the ability to insert the code into their blog.

Some information: Yahoo Widgets, previously called Konfabulator, was acquired by Yahoo in July 2005.

Apple mocking Windows Vista

Apple mocking Windows Vista

You know what, this advertisement is so true when it says “The Wow starts 5 years ago.” Come to think of it and as an occasional Apple Mac user, mac is way much better than Windows Vista, graphically and reliability - no doubt about that. I’ve tried executing a 300MB photoshop file and my PC seems to crash occasionally while executing the same file on a mac do not seems to give me any problems. I would say mac is way much better than Windows XP but I’m not so sure about Vista since I’ve yet to install it on my system.

After 15 years of toying with Windows, come to think of it, maybe I should get a mac, probably mac mini and give it a try. I might fall in love with it… then again maybe not since I love to explore different softwares. Who knows… maybe.
