March 31st, 2009I’m wondering if this service is free to the user that is RECEIVING the text from his or her cell phone. I’ve found on quite a few sites that offer this service say that the charges will vary depending on their plan and provider, or something like that. Will that apply to all sites like this or is this free of charge for the one receiving on their cell phone as well?

The service provider for the recipient will charge the normal rate for these messages. In other words, if the person you are sending a text to has unlimited text messaging, they will not incur an additional charge. However, if they pay their provider 15 cents per message, then they will end up having to pay 15 cents for the text message. It really isn’t that hard to figure out.
