Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart. No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don’t want to die to get there. And yet, death is the destination they all share. No one has ever escaped it, and that is how it should be, because death is very likely the single best invention of life. It’s life’s change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new.

Death, as sad as it may be, is perhaps the most beautiful thing ever created by God. Death is just another journey, without death, there will never be birth and life. Losing someone is inevitable. Food for thought, why do babies cry when they are born, why cry and not laugh or smile the minute they enter this world? There is a saying, it is because they are entering a cruel world. Why do people cry when their loved one passes away, especially those religious people? Should it not be a celebration? According to their religion, they are now in heaven, thus, why cry and not celebrate with joy? Why mourn during their death and not dance with joy?
